Writers In Treatment is an independent California Non‐profit Public Benefit Corporation started by writers and substance abuse counselors in 2008. Our program is funded by individual contributions, grants and fundraising events and projects.

Writers in Treatment, founder Leonard Bushel, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization grounded in the arts and recovery fields. October 14, 15 and 16, 2011, Reel Recovery Film Festival.
