* THANK YOU FOR VISITING LA-CAMFT'S DONATION PAGE *

You are LA-CAMFT. We can’t do it without you.

TOGETHER we can shape the future.

You CAN make a difference!

LA-CAMFT is committed to supporting our current and future members throughout your professional careers – from the start of your schooling and licensure journeys, throughout building your career, all the way to retirement and beyond.  LA-CAMFT wants to see you thrive!

When we’re supported, our clients are supported.

Ours can be a solitary and isolating profession.  But mental health professionals can’t pour from an empty cup!  LA-CAMFT cares about bolstering the future of our profession and those who practice it by offering members a wide range of resources and connections meant to combat burnout and increase competent and confident clinicians in our field.  The better support therapists receive, the better support we’re equipped to offer colleagues and those who sit with us in session.

Help encourage Future Generations of Therapists to keep going!

Donations to LA-CAMFT will go towards continuing and expanding the chapter’s Pre-Licensed and Newly Licensed (3 years or less) Grant Awards Programs, while providing continued outstanding programming and networking events aimed at benefitting the therapeutic community at large.

If every licensed member gives as little as $20 a year, LA-CAMFT can easily meet its current goal of raising a minimum of $3000 by the end of each year permitting the chapter to offer the following Pre-Licensed and Newly Licensed Grant Awards:

  • The Fortitude Grant – awarded in the SPRING (late February/Early March) to an applicant who is an Associate, Trainee, or Student in a clinical psychology graduate program, who meets the eligibility requirements, and who identifies as belonging to an underrepresented group in the mental health field (example: BIPOC or LGBTQIA+)
  • The Unity Grant – awarded to an eligible applicant who is an Associate, Trainee, or Student in a clinical psychology graduate program, to be awarded in the SUMMER (late June/Early July)
  • The Lotus Grant – awarded to an eligible newly licensed LMFT applicant who has been licensed less than 3-years (up to 3-years post-licensure) in the FALL (late October/Early November)

LA-CAMFT believes that by providing ongoing education, mentorship, community-building, leadership development, and networking opportunities for mental health and associated professionals we’re creating a positive ripple-effect resulting in countless patients, clients, and consumers receiving much-needed support in these unpredictable modern times. If we can help ease someone’s burden through grants, mentorship, encouragement, and community, even just a little, we may be contributing to something much larger than ourselves – much larger than LA-CAMFT.  A small investment can be one in a long line of good deeds that we may never know about, but yet, the Universe will.

Any amount is appreciated.  Even a small gift can go a long way and could make all the difference in the world to someone.

Donations are Tax Deductible. Options include one-time amounts of $10, $20, $50, or other. You can make a lasting impact by making your gift a monthly or annual donation as well.
