Working with Trauma and the Body

This event focuses on working with trauma (predominately sexual abuse) from a somatic perspective, and will provide you with a basic understanding of how to identify trauma and prepare your clients to process their traumas through the body.  Beginning with identifying trauma and its impact on the body, you will learn how to work with sensations held in the body, gestures, posture, movement, etc. and to bring balance back to the nervous system.
