Anti-racism as a Movement, Not a Moment
“Anti-Racism as a Movement, Not a Moment” will be a space to come together as a therapeutic community to discuss and address racism and discrimination. We are striving to collaborate on what LA CAMFT can do to be an actively and overtly anti-racist community. Main objectives will be to:
If YOU want to be a part of the MOVEMENT to increase Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, join us at this event, so that TOGETHER we can find ways to positively impact our therapeutic community. We want to hear your voice. Be a part of the CHANGE you want to see in LA CAMFT and in the world.
- Listen, learn, and share how racism and discrimination affect us as therapists, in our work throughout the therapeutic community.
- Identify needed supports and trainings that we as therapists and as a therapeutic community want to see addressed.
- Identify action steps to actively and overtly practice Anti-Racism within LA CAMFT and the broader therapeutic community.
