Expressive Arts Special Interest Group

Art therapy, music, dance, drama and poetry therapy are adjunct modalities which are being utilized as therapeutic interventions in settings such as mental health clinics, educational settings, hospitals, recovery centers as well as retirement homes and hospice environments.

This Special Interest Group meets monthly to offer expressive arts presentations, hands-on experiences, and discussions about the arts as a therapeutic modality. No knowledge of Expressive Arts Therapies is needed…just a curiosity to learn and an open mind!

For scheduled events as well as cultural and social activities for LA-CAMFT Members and Friends (UCLALIVE) please contact our chairs below.
