LA-CAMFT Finds A New Home

Our search for our new home is successful! We have landed at the Olympic Collection. After several wonderful years at the Beverly Hills Country Club (BHCC), our base for our monthly networking events, we are moving. The BHCC is under new ownership, and as quite frequently occurs when new ownership is in place, a complete renovation is planned for all of 2016, and the club will not be available for events until 2017. It is with fond memories that we conclude our tenure there.

Jonathan Flier and I, along with chapter members Julie Brown and Lori Chaikin, spent about a month searching venues throughout the Westside of Los Angeles. We chose the Olympic Collection because it is centrally located on the corner of Sawtelle and Olympic Boulevard, close to the 405 Freeway. Darien Morea, the catering director, organized a great space for us to use, and presented an expanded menu for our breakfast networking events. And one of the best features of all, self-parking is included!

This new location will usher in an expanded era for our chapter. Those attending our Appreciation Dinner there on November 9th will get a sneak peak at this fantastic venue. We look forward to seeing all of you in our new home for many years to come.
